How To Prepare For Our Discovery Meeting

Thank you for this opportunity to introduce our firm to you.

Hiring a Financial advisor is an important decision in your life and must be built on a foundation of trust.  We seek to build life-long relationships with our clients based on that trust.

Just as you would interview us for a long-term relationship, we will evaluate the information you provide to determine how our services fit your needs and objectives.  For our existing clients’ benefit, we accept only a limited number of new clients every year.  We have established minimum criteria for new clients so that we can continue to provide the highest level of service possible.

Generally, an initial consultation lasts 60 to 90 minutes.  This confidential conversation is complimentary to you, as we believe it is critical that you find a financial planning firm that not only listens well and asks the right questions, but one that you believe will meet (and hopefully exceed) your expectations.

During our meeting, you can expect us to ask questions about your goals, dreams, and aspirations.  Please begin thinking about what is important to you and how your quality of life could improve if x, y, or z were addressed.

Our website has been designed to help you gain an overview of the services and resources our firm offers, but even more importantly, it allows you to begin organizing quantitative components that affect your financial life.  Please be assured that all personal and financial information that you share with us during the initial meeting is treated with strict confidentiality, whether you become a client, or not.

In order for us to do a thorough job of planning for your financial future, it would also be helpful if you brought the following items with you:

  1. Your Most recent Tax return
  2. Current Investment, Insurance and Bank Statements
  3. Employee Benefit Booklets
  4. One Month’s Pay Stub
  5. Endorsement Pages of Life, Disability, Auto, Homeowners, and Umbrella Policies
  6. Any Estate Planning Documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.

On behalf of our entire team, thank you for your inquiry.  We look forward to meeting with you!
